Customer Review: The "universal" adapters are a joke

OK, so I have a Miele vacuum cleaner, which isn't one of those listed, but I thought that, with two "universal" adapters included in the package, I had a good chance of making it fit. No. The available end of the Fur Vac attachment is exactly the same diameter as the business end of my vacuum hose. But what's really strange to me is that both of the "adapters" included in the package have a female end that fits over the Fur Vac's male end, and then they both terminate in another male end that is exactly the same diameter as the male end they are supposed to be adapting (all 3 are slightly more than 1 1/4 inches in diameter). In other words, the so-called adapters do nothing to adjust the diameter of the tubing and are apparently just included as window dressing. The seller wants me to pay for the postage to return the product, so it's not worth to me to return it. Maybe I can find a neighbor who can use it.
