Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Marshmallow Popper ShooterCustomer Review: as seen on tv Summary: 3 Stars
I cannot review this product because the item was never delivered by the seller. I continually got the run around and lied to by the seller, As Seen On TV, and finally after not receiving this item cancelled the order. I do not suggest ever using this seller, they do not seem to care about their customers. This even includes the owner Steven that I spoke with. His employee Jennifer is very unprofessional and after the matter was escalated, Robin would not even take calls to resolve the issue. This was my first attempt at a purchase from Amazon.com and because of this seller, it may be my last. Beware of this seller, very unprofessional!!!
Customer Review: Effective... when it's not jammed Summary: 3 Stars
My nephews had fun with these over the holidays, but struggled with constant jamming, which required thoroughly cleaning the now-sticky muzzle of squished marshmallow "guts". They also didn't always fire on the first (or 2nd) attempt, and required additional pumps. Otherwise, they fired the puffy slugs pretty much as advertised.
Customer Review: Kind of a dud Summary: 2 Stars
The problem with this toy is that the marshmallows get stuck in the tube and jams are frequent, making any kind of "battle" impossible. My younger children lack the arm strength to opporate it. It is really fun when it works and might be better in drier climates. The pellets that it comes with will jam as well, once its sticky inside.
Customer Review: Terrible purchase Summary: 1 Stars
I bought 5 of these and we had 2 adults, 2 ten year olds and a five year old using them. Now I understand that they are for children eight and older so I understand that it was difficult for the five year old. The two ten year olds were constantly having troubles with their guns. They would have to hold them so tight against their chests to try and cock the gun to get it to fire. The pellets needed more pressure to fire so we switched to marshmallows. They worked only slightly better but were constantly getting stuck in the gun and you would have to take them apart to unjam them. Another flaw is that near the nozzle, there is a little white plastic washer that constantly falls out when you go to reload. If you do not notice that, the gun will not operate.
We received these last weekend, they were a greater frustration then they were an appreciation and they will not be used again.
Customer Review: Shop til you drop mom Summary: 1 Stars
Marshmallow popper shooter. These are worthless. I ordered six of them for my grandchildren for Easter. Each one of them had the marshmallows get stuck inside and wouldn't shoot them out. What a disappointment. Some of the kids didn't even bother to take theirs along home. It was a complete waste of money.
They came with little pellets that you could also use. They are dangerous and could cause serious eye injuries. It was just a really bad purchase and I am really disgusted.
