I was a little iffy about purchasing such a cheap easel for my large sketchbook drawings and heavy canvas paintings, though was pleasantly surprised to find that this easel is VERY durable and can hold my heaviest sketchbooks and canvases without becoming "shaky." I am 6'4" tall and am able to stand comfortably while using this easel and can still use it as a tabletop easel if I'd like. If you are a college art student like me, you can understand how difficult it is to haul around all of your supplies across campus. This easel can completely fold down into a small bag (included) that I can easily fit into my backpack, which doesn't cause a strain on my long walks. I was pleased with the price, durability, and light, compact size of this easel and I strongly recommend it for start-up artists like me and other college students.

Lightweight Aluminum Easel with Travel BagThis easel is extremely versatile! When the legs are fully extended it can be used as a floor easel or outdoor easel (for plein air painting). When the legs are collapsed down you can use the same easel as a table easel for art or display purposes. Comes with a nylon bag complete with a shoulder strap. Folded down the easel is only 21 inches in length; and weighs less than two pounds! Maximum canvas height that can be clipped onto the easel while painting or drawing is 32 inches. The metal tray that holds artwork is adjustable and can be removed.Kitchen and Housewares
