The first time I needed these they failed on me. They are made of the thinnest, cheapest plastic imaginable. I am convinced now, and should have been BEFORE I bought these, that stuff sold only on TV is done so for a reason. It's because it is next to impossible to return anything. If the stuff was a wonderful as they claim on infomercials, it would be in retail stores in a heartbeat. Go to your local hardware store instead and buy slightly more expensive sliders. I'm an elementary school teacher. Our schedule and classroom is constantly changing throughout the day. This includes our furniture. Before, I needed to bother my neighboring teacher to come help me move this or that. Now, I don't need too! I just flip these things under them, and slide...slide...slide away!! Even if you don't think you need to move something in your home, with this product you'll get creative and begin coming up with ways to rearrange your home or office for a better look and flow. I've moved alot of heavy stuff with these handy slides. The large (7" diameter) ones work best. I find myself not using the smaller ones much, not that theres anything wrong with them. I've purchased some off brand clones at the dollar store but they are not even close to the quality of the original moving men. I think it is obvious but these should only be used on carpet. If used on a hard surface the bottoms get scratched making them not slide as well. I think every home should have these.Customer Review: BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!

I am a single woman and I am always trying to rearrange items in my home to give it a "new" look. I purchased these moving men to help do this. I was a little skeptical when I saw how thin they were. I was quickly amazed at how easy these little disks made moving my couch, entertainment center with the tv and all dvd's and other accumulated junk and a lot of other big items. I am still not sure how they glide so smoothly over carpet. THESE THINGS WORK! Do not let the low price fool you.Customer Review: Moving men

They work famtastic. We were doing some remodeling in the house and it went on forever. I had moved my fireplace to the middle of the room and it set there for over a month. I was afraid to move it because I was afraid there would be big marks. My friend gave me the moving men to get it up off the carpet so I put them under it and moved it like it was on glass. We just left them under so we could keep moving it back and forth.
That is why I then ordered myself two sets of them.
