Remember, this is not intended to replace your vacuum but it does a great job for those "in-between" cleanups. I use it on carpet, hardwood and tile and (as long as you don't overstuff the trap) it picks up fine and it's easy to use especially in those tight spots that are hard to get to. I've been using a Shark for about a year and, in my opinion, the Swivel Sweeper does as well or better. Several retail stores carry this item and if you can find one close-by you can avoid the S&H charges. I found one at Bed, Bath and Beyond and, since I get 20%-off coupons in the mail all the time, I got mine for $31.96 plus tax.Customer Review: Battery

Just received my G2 swivel sweeper yesterday. I plugged in the battery to charge overnight, inserted it into sweeper, and nothing happened. I called Ontel and they are sending me a new battery. I hope this is not a precurser to a bad product.Customer Review: Not as good as the original

This is my second Swivel Sweeper, and hands down this newer version isn't up to par. Instead of sweeping 'dirt' up into the collection area, it likes to shoot it back out only to force me to try to re-sweep it over and over. Granted, the first Swivel Sweeper had issues with a weak battery, it had no problem getting anything off my hardwood floor and even low-pile carpet. I love these types of sweepers because they generally get all the crumbs my two small children litter the floor with after every meal. But, this G2 just doesn't do the job.Customer Review: G2 is P.U.!!!!!

This sweeper is proof positive that some products do not need improving!! I liked the original swivel sweeper {black one}, ALOT!!! Sure, it did not last for a long period of time, but this "new" model is a JOKE! It is so incredibly FLIMSY, that I broke TWO of them, in less than a MONTH! I could see right off they were not sturdily made, so I used a "delicate touch"....Even with that, they snapped in half!!!! UNREAL!!! My original models never did that! I so wish they would just go back to basics,and re-market the first sweeper.I will surely buy them! I will never buy another one of these!
