Here are the situations I find the sweeper most helpful in:
1) Cleaning up crumbs in the area between my sofa and coffee table, since my husband likes to make a mess there. It's SO much easier than having to plug in a heavy old vacuum!!!
2) Sweeping the kitchen floor. It gets in skinny places and around the dining chairs without my having to completely move everything around. I was able to toss my old broom and dustpan.
3) Sweeping up my bathroom. It can go over the little floor mats without killing them like my normal vacuum would!
4) Cleaning under my couch, coffee table, treadmill, and bed. You don't need to move anything thanks to the bending handle!!!
5) Picking up lint and other debris that shows up easily on my dark colored carpet.
I don't think it's meant to replace a vacuum for heavy-duty cleaning, and it might not be ideal if you have a bunch of pets that shed, but it is fantastic for every day light cleaning!!! It's light-weight and less bulky than my broom and dustpan combo were. LOVE IT!!! Make sure you read the directions regarding the battery charging and care for the sweeper.

We live in Vegas. Dryness, winds and sand storms guarantee that we get more than our fair share of dust, and leaves that blow in through an open patio door.
We also have two cats, which means we have cat litter, cat hair, scattered dry food, and a few dead bugs that the cats bring in triumphantly from the patio.
The repository for all this nasty stuff is 1,000 sq.ft. of tiled flooring.
The swivel sweeper is absolutely perfect for easily and efficiently cleaning this floor. Because it is cordless, it is quick and easy to use, very maneuverable, and the battery life is excellent. We can use the sweeper half a dozen times before we need to recharge the battery.
The reality is that the sweeper is perfect for these conditions. It is obviously NOT an industrial strength vacuum cleaner, and I would not even consider using it on our carpets and rugs - we use a regular vacuum cleaner for those areas.
I highly recommend this product for those who have floors suited to its capabilities.

I had my fourth back surgery last spring. We bought 2 vacuum cleaners trying to find one that wasn't too heavy for me to use. It was exhausting for me to use them. Then I saw the swivel sweeper. Thought it was too good to be true. Not so. It weighs almost nothing. It gets under all my furniture. We have 2 long haired cats. Rolls of hair are everywhere. The swivel sweeper eats them right up. It picks up tight against the walls. Better than the vacuum cleaners, Quick and easy to empty. It also picks up the kitty litter that gets scattered on the floor. I ruined 2 vacuum cleaners picking up kitty litter. With the exception of one area rug, I have all hardwood floors. The swivel sweeper picks up everywhere. I can now clean the floors in my whole house at one time without having to stop and rest every few minutes.

The swivel sweeper g2 is exactly what I was looking for; a quick easy way to pick up dirt from my kitchen and wood floors. Exactly like others have said, this is not a vacuum cleaner, it's a broom that saves you the trouble of using a dust pan, saving a step. I use it constantly in my kitchen and in the basement where I keep the kitty litter boxes. I've tried on the carpet and it works but the bristles come to a very slow movement, so again, it's not for carpets but for wood ,ceramic and tile floors. The battery stay charged for a while, though I did have a problem with one battery, however a replacement was sent within days. It can feel a little flimsy since the arm bends to get under cabinets.
I'm very happy with the product and highly recommend.

I looooove my Swivel Sweeper!! My last one broke (I had it for a while) so I decided to upgrade. I have 3 kids and this picks up so much of the trash they leave around. I love using it around the dinner table. While I was waiting for my new one, I had to haul the big vaccuum out to clean up their messes and I am so thankful for the Swivel sweeper. It's so light and easy to use. And small so it's easy to store. I also love the new features in this one. It's so nice not to have to touch the dirt tray to dump it, and I love the back saving handle!! I bought this package so I could give the other one as a Christmas present. I definitely recommend this product!!
