My daughter first saw a raclette on a trip to visit her in-laws in England. Amazon was the only place we were able to find it. It is a great way to get family and friends around the table for meals. Our order was received in a very timely manner and the product is exactly what we expected. Grill heats quickly, temperature knob allows for high or medium temperatures to prevent smoking. Works great! I like the temperature control. I have an older, European model with only an ON/OFF switch and I must say the temp control is much better. We only do raclette maybe twice a year, so I can't speak to the durability of the product.Customer Review: Excellent!

Great size; worked well for a dinner party of eight. I saw some complaints that the raclette dishes could only be put into the set on two sides; we found that the dishes on the end could be inserted sideways so all four sides could be used.
