This is one of the most used and best kitchen items I own. I wouldn't be without it and I use it multi-times during the day. Who needs an expensive Japanese Air Pot when the Sunbeam heats 16oz of water to boiling in less than a minute and one half. It's speed out performs electic kettles and the microwave. I use it mostly for heating water for coffee and tea but also use it to jump start liquid concoctions while the electric stove burner is slowly (UG) heating. After using a Sunbeam Hot Shot daily for about 30 years we really needed a new one even though our old one still heated the water it was getting worn out.
I was thrilled when I went to Amazon .com and found my new Sunbeam Hor Shot and a bargain price. I plan to buy more for gifts. It was great to find a product no longer carried in stores at Amazon.com. It is a wonderfull product. We could not Live without our New Sunbeam Hot Shot Beaverage Machine. Thank You Amazon.com

This is truth in advertising! There's no promise that it will cook wonderful meals or make you thinner, stronger, or faster. The Hot Shot will only heat water quickly for you. It does that well, and very reliably. If only other products had such truth in their advertising! The Hot Shot stays on our counter and even in near 100 degree weather, it is used several times a week. We know that we could live without it, but why would we want to? If you want hot water fast this is a must have!!! I do not own a brew coffee maker because I cant find one hot enough. I still perk mine on the stove with a pyrex. That will tell you how important the temp of my coffee and tea is to me. This is Hot. Pour in my water and by the time I get my tea bag it is done. Now, if I can only find a coffe maker that can heat the coffee this hot!! Great for kids Hot chocolate, and a cup of instant chicken soup. You gotta get one!!!!
