Customer Review: Easy Cooking - No Cleaning!

I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase of the Rocket Grill and the pouches! I did a lot of homework online before committing to the purchase, and it really does what it says! Even my uber-skeptical husband said he's pretty impressed with it and has been known to use it himself. The pouches are great for keeping food moist with no clean up. I have only had two exceptions. I did have one bag that was defective, so I had to clean up a little "juice", but it's easy since the little plastic tray at the bottom slides out. One defective bag out of 60 is good odds, so I'm not upset. The other time, I did not follow the thickness guidelines for chicken, so I had to cook longer than the guide said. I think I may have damaged the bag when putting it back in for the second round of cooking, and had to again clean up a little "juice". That said, not following guidelines/directions is my fault, so I do not blame them for that one. Overall, I believe the Rocket Grill and the pouches are well worth the every penny I spent!Customer Review: Another use for these bags

I have the rocket grill which I love. I also have a 50 sq. in" George Foreman
grill with adjustable temperature and the sloping fixed grill plates. I cut
the top off the Rocket Grill parchment pouch (the solid area that allows it to
hang in the Rocket Grill) and put my meat (so far chicken, hamburger) into the
pouch and placed it on the George Foreman grill. The bottom of the pouch that
collects the fat hangs just below where the grill closes and with the slope of the
grill plates the fat made it way down the pouch and into the bottom of the pouch
where the fat is supposed to collect.
I set the temperature on high, cooked the chicken breast (thawed) for 10 minutes
and it came out perfect, grill marks and all.
I have a 92 year old mom with arthritis and now she can use her smaller
George Foreman and have no clean up at all.

This is an awesome price for the bags and I just ordered 4 more packs of these bags! Looks like the shipping was combined too!
Love the grill! I started a low carb regimen 2 weeks ago and this is perfect for anyone that is watching carbs or trying to add more whole foods to their diet. My family does not have to eat what I eat because I can throw my meal in the grill without all the extra pots and pans and grill plates.
Last nite I grilled steak, zucchini and asparagus in the Rocket grill. Add a side of brown rice and done!
The money I save on oil and cooking spray is worth the bags alone. No more fast food stops either! I know I can have a nice meal within minutes of getting home so that takes the edge off.

Got this for son off to college, but after trying it out, we bought another for the house. It makes the very best Quesadillas ever. You can grill the chicken from frozen (the times in the guide were too long but once adjusted this was great), take a large tortilla - put the cheese and sliced cooked chicken - fold, bag, and grill for a couple or 3 minutes - and the very best! Really good for the precooked chicken sausages, frozen hamburgers, etc.. The bags will break if you put a lot of wet seasonings in them without shaking off before bagging, but a touch of olive oil and seasonings, or a few drops of Worchester on a frozen hamburger is amazing. I'm so glad that Amazon carries these! We use our "griller" as we call it all the time and the bags are alot more expensive through the manufacturer. At one time I could purchase them at Walmart in town and that was convienent, but have not seen them in the stores for quite some time. The Grill and the bags work amazingly from making a simple grilled sandwich to doing sausage or steak or chicken breasts for dinner, then we simply toss the parchment bag away, no fuss, no mess!!! Even my granddaughter uses it to make after school snacks, so for a couple of months we were abit disappointed to be running extremely low on bags, was so very happy to locate them on Amazon!!! I check Amazon for just about everything now!
