I had the old model hot shot for 8 years and LOVED it. I was so disappointed when my Dad's broke and I couldn't fine anything on the market (2 yrs ago). So, when mine broke and I looked, I was so happy to fine the HotShot on the market again. I've had it for a month now. And it's even better than the original. I bought one for my Dad too and we both love it. It's great. My daughter and I have tea every morning and it heats up our 2 cups of water very fast. It's perfect for our rushed mornings.

We've had one of these for years and used it almost daily. When it came time to replace it, we were glad to see it was still made. In fact, it actually has been improved by moving the power switch to the back of the top, rather than on the front, where it could get bumped and activated before water was added. We got two this time, one for the kitchen, one for the camper. We'll see if they last the 10+ years that the first one did. We'll probably get a few more to give as gifts. Item came very quickly & was exactly as described. Very easy to use & dispense. Just add any amount of water, up to two (2) cups & push the start button. It produces up to 2 cups of boiling hot water in a matter of a few seconds. It is great for making instant coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. (NOTE: It is not intended to warm other liquids, just water...) This is my third Hot Shot, but my first black one. I love this product. I had one a several years ago and used it everyday to the point it just got old. I was so excited to find they still made them and in a color that matched my kitchen. This item is easy to use, fast to heat hot water and great for things like hot chocolate and hot cereals. I think everyone should have one, saves time when you need hot boiling water quick, instead of turning a burner on the stove and waiting several long minutes for it to start getting hot. This Hot Shot hot water dispenser is one that replaced an older model that after 15 years just wouldn't go it anymore. This newer one is nice in the fact that the older one had switch and water dispenser controls that were not designed too well I believed. In a minute or so you have hot water for your tea, instant coffee, hot coco or anything that requires a small amount of boiling hot water to make. It is rugged and I hope will last me another 15 years like the last one did.
