Whether you are simply using the cabinets as an auxiliary pantry or you are a hobbyist, artist, woodworker, these shelves put together easily and, more importantly, open and close easily and securely. What more could you want? I own six already and just ordered another three. (I'm an artist, writer, photographer, crafter and cook who needs extra storage in my basement that will keep items dry and dust free.) I highly recommend these units. In past homes I've had prettier and more expensive storage, but none more practical and cost effective. P.S. The dimensions are just perfect for my needs and the shelves are adjustable.Customer Review: Exactly what we needed

Pros:

If you want an elegant and extremely durable storage, this is not the cabinet for you.
Cons:
*The plastic is fairly durable, yet one unit arrived with a small crack in one section. I called the number listed & received the replacement within a few days.
*We are using these in the kitchen and kids' play area and while they are not an eyesore they do not look warm and inviting as wood. This does not bother us, but may be a sticking point for some.
*The tabs upon which the shelves rest seem strong enough if you don't exceed the 40lb limit, but I might recommend staying closer to 30 lbs. I say this because the tabs are built into the side pieces and if they break it will limit your organizing options. Since our units are new, I can't say what the track record is with these tabs and the weight limit in the specs.
Final analysis: This is perfect for our needs.
