I bought this to take on a trip to Europe and cruise. It weighs only a little over a pound by itself so it won't push your luggage over the limit and has a little carry sack to boot. It heats up quickly and the steam function worked well as I was able to iron several shirts and a couple pair of pants without refilling it. The cord was plenty long enough for me but I was working within 3 feet of an outlet so it didn't factor in. For the price, function, and weight it worked great.
