This was a gift for my sister-in-law but the entire family absolutely loved it. We have a large crowd for the holidays and she said it was a life saver for making au gratin potatoes. I LOVE this product. With 7 children I peel a LOT of potatos. The only problem I had with it was when it stopped working. It simply slowed down and after 6 months of CONSTANT use it died. Since I am buying another one it must be worth the money. If you love potatos but hate peeling them this is the must have gadget for you!Customer Review: A true life saver

I bought two just in case one broke. This is the best thing since sliced bread. I even bought extra blades and I am still using the first blade. If only someone would invent a reasonably priced commercial grade peeler...that would be nice. What huge time-saver and help in the kitchen. My sons' love apples, but only without the peel...I use the Rotato to peel apples. It especially comes in handy after we've gone apple picking; I peel 20 + pounds of apples in minutes. You will be amazed how easy it is to make mashed potatoes or yams for Thanksgiving or other holidays. You will never want to peel by hand ever again. It saves hours. I have used a rotato potato peeler for several years now and will consider giving them for wedding gifts.
