I bought this a few weeks ago after my local tea shop introduced me to "tea soda" (concentrated tea with soda water). I knew I'd be drinking a lot of it and didn't want to have all the waste with purchased club soda -- plastic bottles, flat water, etc.
It's easy to use, takes up relatively little counter space, and the bottles stay fizzy for quite a long time. I love that I'm not filling up my recycling container with plastic bottles, too.
I've only tried one of the flavors, orange, and wasn't crazy about it. I'm not much of a sodapop drinker, though. For me, just having fizzy water is reason enough to buy this.

I have read a lot of reviews for this product. A lot of them saying how the syrup's are horrible. I went to a local supply house and purchased Coke Sprite Zero Syrup, and also Sam's club sell syrups. I makes all the difference. Plus I cant even tell you how much money you will save. I purchased a 2-1/2 gallon of syrup for has a kill date on it , but the salesman assured me that if kept under refrigeration, will last much I am a very happy the machine. But I also hate their syrups......so do yourself a favor and check out your local supply houses for the syrup.Customer Review: EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

I bought this for my sister who loves seltzer. When I saw a comercial for a soda maker I decided to check out a little more about them and then I read a few reviews. This soda maker is awesome!!!!! I had it delivered to my job and I Made a bottle and have quite a few girls do a taste test and they all loved the "fresh" taste of the seltzer. My sister was so surprised to get this and absolutely LOVES it. She will save some money and no more lugging home the big bottles from her deli. She said the taste is "fresh" as well. I just got this yesterday and have been non-stop drinking yummy carbonated water.... with a little lime twist... I can't believe how cool this thing is! I recommend it HIGHLY.... I always felt so guilty buying all those bottles...even though I recycled them... NOW I don't have to keep going to the store everytime I run out of water...which led to buying other stuff I didn't need... and now I can drink as much as I want!!! With summer coming.... I will be making lots of carbonated sun-fruit-tea... this iwll be great for dieting...so stoked!Customer Review: So good, it almost seems they made a mistake!

I've had my "Sodastream" for well over a year, & still use the first canister! Has this happened to anyone else? Granted, I'm not a heavy soda user, but I'm filling the bottles regularly with as much as much carbonation as they'll hold. I'm interested in the re-fill issue some other users are having, but it hasn't com up yet. "Sodastream"s total cost so far is much less than half what I would've spent on similar quality club-soda, to say nothing of the green aspects, & not having to hoist heavy bottles home every week.
