I am so happy with this little gadget! It is so easy to use. Yes, it sometimes does not recognize a word. Most often it is if there is background noise, I think it gets confused. Or I have noticed that it is the tone of my voice that throws it off. I will buy these for Christmas gifts next year! It was/is very easy to add the foods I buy at the store that are not in my list. I also put in the stores-offices in my area and put them under the 'errands' section. So as I start adding things for my own use, I will have a nice little list to take w/me. The two lists are nice. I labled one 'grocery store' and the other I will use for maybe Costco, or let my husband use depending on our needs.
This is a must have for someone busy, or who just likes gadgets.

The Smartshopper deluxe organizes and prints your grocery list categorized by store aisle. Smartshopper is a convenient way to keep track of your errands and groceries. You can add items to your shopping list by simply speaking into Smartshopper's builtin microphone with state-of-the-art voice recognition. Using the easy-to-read led display, you can edit your list entries and customize your Smartshopper. As you enter items into your grocery shopping list organizer, they will be sorted based on categories such as fresh produce, dairy, canned goods, etc., so when you hit the print button, Smartshopper will have already simplified and organized your shopping trip for you. The Smartshopper is preloaded with 2,500 grocery items with space for 2,500 customizable items. In addition the new Smartshopper deluxe can now keep track of 2 different shopping lists and can be used also as a kitchen timer.
