I wasn't sure when I ordered it, but I absolutely love this pillow. It DOES stay cool throughout the night, and for someone who sleeps hot, that's a blessing. It is very heavy so it doesn't scoot around as you are sleeping, and it is very firm, giving great support for a side sleeper. Customer Review: PIllow with hazards in literature

I opened this and read the enclosed paperwork. The manufacturer notes that this product has a distinct smell and should be set aside in a well ventilated area so it can off-gas for at least 24 hours before use. It also says that it is made of a urethane foam and that urethane foams are highly flammable. The pillow must be kept away from hot lights, cigarettes, etc. Frankly, I was afraid to use the thing. I don't smoke but I have pets and and lamps. I returned the pillow before usingCustomer Review: Very Comfortable!

After waking up every morning for the last two weeks with a stiff neck and upper back pain I took my wife's advice and upgraded my pillow to this iso-cool memory foam product. For the first time in weeks I woke up without even a hint of pain. It is incredibly comfortable, and very quickly conforms to the weight of my head. This particular version is designed for side sleepers, although I found resting on my back was just as pleasant.
Most importantly, it provides real support that lasts throughout the night. The pillow has some heft to it, and the foam is quite dense. I didn't find myself 'sinking' into the middle of it.
The "iso-cool" cover actually works - almost too well. It feels a little strange when I first put my head down as the pillow really is cool to the touch. It will, however, warm up after a few minutes of rest. I never have a problem 'overheating' at night, so this was one feature I could do without.
That gripe aside, this was money well spent. This is an excellent product that solved a problem and helped me start today off right. Can't ask for more than that!

The pillow is soft, but firm. It seems to be cool to me (throughout the night) and doesn't overheat, but I keep my place at about 72 degrees F, so I'm not sure if that has an impact or not. It's definitely the best pillow I've had in a while. :D Forewarning, however, it does stink when you first take it out of the package, but let it air out for half a day or so (so take it out in the morning, then when you come back at night, it will be fine).Customer Review: Not so cool.

One of the reasons for ordering the ISO Cool Pillow was the "cool" factor, but in that regard it didn't do much.
What I am satisfied with is the fact that I no longer wake up with a neck or backache. It is a very comfortable pillow for me.
