I bought a Sealy Posturepedic a number of months ago but found it was a bit too firm for my liking. I read the reviews for this product and decided to go for it. All in all I'd say I'm pleased - I've slept well without the normal back pains in the morning for the past week I've had it. My one complaint is that it doesn't quite fit the mattress as some other reviewers stated. It falls short in both length (by almost 5 inches at the bottom!) and width (only an inch or so on each side). I've situated it so that my feet slightly hang off the end (I'm 5'11 so I need the length!). I'm hoping it stretches out the more I use it, purely for aesthetic reasons. On the bright side it has caused me to make my bed every morning (the sheets and comforter hide the odd edges)!Customer Review: totally worth the $

If you are thinking about buying this mattress topper, I suggest you read more of the reviews before you decide. You probably plan to do that anyway. Since there are so many reviews, I'm going to keep it simple rather than my usual long blathering type review.
I bought this in Queen size. It arrived in a normal packing box, like the size of maybe a desktop printer you would have at work. Opened the box and took out the plastic and opened the topper to find it looked pretty pathetic with all the air vacuumed out.
I did not notice any smell. I have a sensitive nose, but maybe I don't detect this kind of chemical smell like others do? I did not notice a smell in the Tempur pillows I bought either so I guess your results could vary.
It took about 2 days for the topper to be completely crease free. Yup it really measures 3" thick after all the air goes back in to the foam.
I used this thing on the floor at first just because I hadn't decided on a proper mattress. Let me tell you that this is no substitute for sleeping on a mattress. And I knew that but I'm just putting it out there for anyone hoping for a cheap mattress solution. I ended up buying an inexpensive old fashioned mattress, I mean the kind without a plush or pillow top. And honestly while the mattress and topper combo is not as comfy as the super nice latex mattress I slept on before, it's pretty close. And the latex mattress was REALLY expensive. So I think this mattress topper is totally worth the $.
PS: I like a soft bed and I am usually cold. If you like a firm bed and you usually feel hot: this is probably not a good product for you.

I already had this mattress topper on 2 of my beds and loved the way they felt. I purchased my 3rd one from Amazon.com for a really price. The mattress was perfect and just what I wanted. I bought the 3 inch pad as a stop gap until I could afford to buy a TemperPedic mattress. Every morning when I got out of bed, I could barely walk, my back was so stiff. We purchased the pad, installed it on our bed, and blammo- good bye sleepless nights, could bye stiff back. This pad is a winner. This seems to be doing the trick. I sleep better using this topper. Doesn't get too warm for me, and I don't seem to roll around much once I fall asleep. Would purchase again. Hope this helps.
