Customer Review: Easy-to-replace Shower Filter

Once you find something to open the showerhead (I used an oil filter wrench because a strap wrench wasn't working for me), this basically just snaps in after you remove the old shower filter.
Living with hard water is bad enough, but to realize your lungs could be affected by the chlorine in your shower water, that was the turning point in my life. I can now say that my skin has benefited greatly from filtering out the chlorine.

What I love about them - The five spray settings are more interesting than other shower heads because you also get a steam mist setting that is gentle on your face. A Champagne setting, full spray, combination and massage setting also make for a soothing shower experience.
When you order the ShowerTek products, they include a filter, but it is great to have a new one on hand. The filters last for about 6 months, but that is based on use by a family of 4.
Filter Capacity - 10,000 gallons
Filter Type - KDF - filters out Lead, Mercury, Iron, Bacteria, and Hydrogen Sulfide.
This product will also reduce lime scale, mold and bacteria growth in the shower. That means, cleaning the shower gets easier. Especially when you can use the showerhead to rinse down the shower. Since using this filter I have had a very easy job of cleaning my shower. I compare this to my husband's shower and I notice how my shower stays cleaner simply because of the quality of the water.
