Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Sharp R-55TS Warm & Toasty Toaster/MicrowaveCustomer Review: Space Effecient Summary: 4 Stars
I really like this appliance. It does a good job toasting my bread and microwaving my food if necessary. The baking item does okay but I haven't mastered the amount of time to bake something.
I would own it again. It's nice to have my toaster and microwave as one unit to save space in my kitchen.
Customer Review: Like the Size... Summary: 4 Stars
...I purchased this microwave because I needed a smaller microwave to fit in a certain area of my kitchen. The down side is food takes longer to cook--though dinner plates can fit, just barely.
Customer Review: Works for Me Summary: 4 Stars
This is a neat appliance for 2 people -- works great --
the toaster takes a little while, and then the cool down--
it beats having a toaster, micro, and oven !! Good buy.
Customer Review: Sharp microwave Summary: 4 Stars
This microwave performs well. It was a little strange getting use to "dialing" your cooking time but over all it is a wonderful little microwave/toaster oven. You can't beat the price!
Customer Review: Bad toaster, weak microwave, and nothing like a convection microwave Summary: 3 Stars
Basically, this is a microwave oven with a infrared heating element on the top and bottom. It has a raised ceramic turntable in the center and you can use metal in there. It's intended to either grill like a toaster oven OR you can use the microwave mode, NOT BOTH. In my opinion, it is too hard to use, takes too long to cook and does not do as good of a job as a normal toaster oven. It's also inconvenient because you can't use paper towels, paper plates, plastic, etc. unless it is in pure microwave mode. I would have thought that this was going to be like a convection microwave, but I was quite wrong. I am going to return mine.
