This microwave oven is an almost exact replacement for my old oven that I purchased seven years ago. The open/close button failed on my old oven and I needed an exact replacement to fit into the exact opening space above my double ovens. This microwave oven is tops! Fast and easy to use. Unfortunately I fixed the open/close button rather easily so now I have two very good microwave ovens.Customer Review: Same as Dacor

This Sharp was a replacement for a built-in Dacor unit that was 9 years old. On checking the specs before purchase it was obvious that Sharp was manufacturing the Dacor units. It looks slightly different but is identical in size and features and costs less.
Arrived within a few business days in perfect condition and operates well.

I had a similar experience as A. Ramineni. My microwave also arrived damaged and had to be returned. My replacement was lost in transit so credit was given. I'm sure I would have loved it since it has an opening all ready built in for it.Customer Review: Sharp

I replaced a ten year old sharp that had a trim kit around it. Same unit, works great. Nice they did not change the spc and cause me to pay 200 more for a new trim kit. Wish they would send an extra bulb with unit.Customer Review: Great buy!

We were looking to replace the Dacor microwave and found out that Sharp has the same model for over $300 less. There are minor cosmetic differences but other than that exactly the same.
