Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Sharp R-320HW 1200 Watts Mid Size Microwave Oven, whiteCustomer Review: Much better than my last one Summary: 4 Stars
This microwave cooks much faster and more evenly than my previous one. The popcorn settings does not cook ACT II popcorn properly. It tends to burn the popcorn before it is fully popped if I use the regular settings. Aside from that it is great.
Customer Review: so far so good Summary: 4 Stars
Not had it long, but liking it so far. Everything I want from a microwave. Looks good, good size, fits large dinner plate, easy controls, sturdy and efficient. Very good price for a high quality microwave.
Customer Review: Glasses Needed Summary: 4 Stars
An excellent appliance, other than the lettering on the menu, which is too small for somebody with less than perfect eyesight. Other than that, I love it. Powerful, quiet, adequately sized.
Customer Review: Great compact microwave Summary: 4 Stars
This microwave has been excellent. It is just the right size to fit in my small apartment, but large enough to cook anything I want. The controls are easy to understand and navigate.
Customer Review: OK, but not a Panasonic Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this unit to replace a Panasonic 563 microwave that I purchased at a retail store. I loved the Panasonic -- very good build quality, intuitive touchpad, quite - but it opened with a handle, and every time I opened it the microwave would drage across the counter. So I replaced it with this, since I couldn't find a powerful Panasonic with a button opener that wasn't huge. Well, while it is quiet, it clearly isn't a Panasonic. Think Chevy vs. Honda. The Sharp look and feels like a cheaper piece of equipment, and the touchpad is far less intuitive to use. I can't offer to many comments on use, since neither unit got, or has gotten, a lot of use. But aside from teh door handle, I loved the Panasonic. Compact, rock solid build, quiet and incredibly fast. Let's just hope the Sharp work better than it appears to be built.
