This is perfect product for making rotis or tortillas but we can't expect much though. All we have to do is make soft dough and make 1" size dough balls and press them like slices with hand add small oil to every slice both sides before you put on the nonstick surface of the roti maker.First roti maker has to start 2 minutes before, in medium temp.After 2 minutes green light will come then put this dough slice and press gently .Screech sound will come ,then release the press and some steam will come out, after a minute take out this roti out of this maker and we have to make fully on fry pan before eating.or preserve in refrigerator.If we don't expect fully cooked rotis with this ,this is a best roti maker .Customer Review: the BEST roti/tortilla maker you will ever find! I have tried sooo many different roti/tortilla makers. and this SAACHI is seriously the BEST out there! Bargainoffers.com company is the best! They have great customer service and are such nice people. I have tried the crappy villaware 10 inch model as well as the horrible 8 inch REVEL brand, and i had nothing but problems. For all of you who hate to pay extra for tortillas, which are essentially water, flour, and oil, this is ideal. You just follow the directions, don't overpress, and you can have a lot of tortillas really fast. An excellent buy. If you like tortillas, I'd recommend this maker. This also does flatbreats. The temperature control allows you to set how cooked, crispy, or thick you want the tortillas. Also makes roti.Customer Review: This is a great item to buy

This product is excellent to make rotis. it all depends how you prepare the dough for rotis. if the dough is proper, therotis come out excellently. After making a few trials, then the rotis came out good. Initially, I was also of the opinion that this is a waste product.
