Customer Review: Great as far as over the door shoe storage goes!

These are the best. They are neat, sturdy, versatile, and they store larger size shoes. They take on the big, rough, tough shoes made for boys (young men) these days. I had to buy several pairs of sports shoes made to resemble a basketball, a soccer ball, and a John Deere Tractor - padded, so they look larger than the real things. (I wouldn't wanna' be caught in a coma in them!) This over-the-door storage system took them on easily.
They take flat female shoes a pair a pocket. I could even get two pairs of some of mine in a pocket if I let desperation really overtake me! (Being a shoe fanatic, I did think about it!) The pockets are tres generous!
I have three of these systems, so far. Not one has cried "Uncle" yet! My doors close, although I have one system folded to accommodate a narrow door. Pockets face the door and away from the door, yet I can pretty easily get to all the shoes.
I even hung a system on one of my closet walls. (I was in despair! I needed to get inside the closet to get to the clothes!)
These things work and they look decent!

This shoe organizer is wider that the typical one you find on the shelf next to the hangers in the store. The canvas material is durable. I wish this came in other colors rather than just the blue nylon backing.
The noteworthy thing is that this holds men's shoes. Women's dress shoes fit two to a pocket, and men's shoes fit one per pocket. This is the first organizer that I have found that holds a larger shoe. That's why I have to rate this item top stars.

This shoe organizer is perfect. I ordered one and immediately ordered a second. If I knew it was this easy to organize my shoes I would have done it much sooner. The rack did not work over my door but was perfect over the rod in my closet. My shoes are a women's size 6.5 and each pocket holds a pair. With my shoes paired in individual pockets it is very easy to grab exactly what I want. Before I was digging through the bottom of my closet trying to find the match to the heels I wanted to wear to work that day. Now they are both where they belong. It is so easy to find them and put them back at night. Not only does it make life easier to find my shoes, but they stay nice and clean and free from marks An extra bonus is that I can now walk into my small walk in closet. I highly recommend this inexpensive shoe rack.
