I got one as a gift and love it. I don't cook at all, but this really does make it easy. The steam tray only works if you cook something that takes at least an hour and a half or so (I think it was an afterthought to keep people from burning themselves). My girlfriend never liked steak -- but after we made it in this she was happy to eat it.

The cookbook is written especially for the rotisserie, with step-by-step instructions. Also included is a 9-1/2-by-9-1/2-by-2-1/2-inch nonstick wire basket that is deep enough to hold lobster, lots of vegetables, and other foods when it's placed on the rotisserie's spit and slowly turned to roast what's inside. Rounding out the kit is a set of 48 elastic ties to bind meats and poultry, a meat/poultry thermometer, and a lightweight, 8-inch stainless-steel carving knife with a pronged blade for spearing slices. --Fred Brack
