This product works very well - we have it in a kitchen drawer not hung on the wall. It is easy with a quick glance to see what batteries we're missing or need or if we have enough of any particular type. Once in their spots, the batteries are easy to retrieve. I will say, it does have the option to hang from a wall, however, once you have it full, it is QUITE heavy - if you were hanging it on the wall, I would would be sure to use some sort of anchor hooks so that it won't rip out. Overall, we're very satisfied - there's no more digging to see if we have enough batteries for the play station remotes!
