Customer Review: Have grown to love the blue despite my first impression

My wife recently ordered this set and when it came the first thing I noticed that the set was blue. After years of using stainless steel, wooden or black silicone I was shocked at the boldness of the Rachel Ray kitchen tools. I picked them up and they were nice and sturdy did not feel cheap at all yet there was a plastic feel to them. My wife had the ladle probed up in a hot bowl and I was afraid they would melt (they seem to remind me of toys rather than cooking ) yet not a scratch. They also attach to pans perfectly my only concern is they attach so well that you have to give it a bit of a tug and I thought I was going to dump the entire bowel on me but now I realize I need to hold the handle when taking the spoon off. All in all this is a well made product and it does what you would expect. In addition I have come to enjoy the blue and we have bought several other Rachel Ray kitchen aids to replace which have replaced our older kitchen tools.
