I bought this pan as a gift as I already have one and love it. I like the size, the shape, the extra handle and the clear lid. I use it for many things, even sauteing a small quantity as the high sides of the pan keep spattering on the stove to a minimum. The weight is great, not too heavy for the size of the pan. I love this addition to my kitchen. It's easy care and easy cook. Makes stove top cooking fun. Has many uses from stews to one dish meals. Cleans up fast due to the non-stick feature. My husband bought this pan for me as a Christmas gift. I absolutely love it. It is just the right size. Not too big for the two of us but big enough to use when we have company. I purchased this pan for my daughter when she graduated from Culinary School, and she now claims it is her very favorite pan. The size and shape is so versatile, and the see through lid is excellent. All the reviews are correct. This is a great "go to" pan for your everyday cooking. I was skeptical about the oval shape, but you can fit alot in it & fits well on your stove top. Storage may be a slight issue since it won't stack so nicely with your other pots. But it's still very much worth that small inconvenience.
