Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Rachael Ray Hard Anodized Nonstick 5-Quart Oval Saute Pan with Glass Lid, Orange

Customer Review: Perfect Pan For Everything
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this after seeing Rachael using them on her show! I love this pan! I only use two pans in my kitchen now- this pan and Rachael's Oval Dutch Oven. These pan heat evenly even though they are not the size of the burner, and heat quickly on a medium setting. The great part of the pan is the silicon on the handles it keeps the handles cools. The helper handles also make it very easy to handle when I have prepared something heavy. This pan wears very well too, I have caught my partner using a metal fork or spoon in the pan numerous times and it shows no sign of scratching or flaking. These pan clean up quickly and easily every time!

Customer Review: Excellent Saute Complement to 10-piece Set
Summary: 5 Stars

After buying and loving Ray's 10-piece hard-anodized set, I purchased this 5 quart saute in order to have more room to fry and braise. The hard-anodized aluminum provides very even heating and cooks foods very well. If one is frying poultry or meat, larger pieces should be moved more toward the center, just over the burner--foods on the outer parts of the pan don't brown as quickly (so the occasional movement from side to center is necessary), but you can't beat its roomy environment. Still, for simmering or braising (lid on or off), foods cook quite evenly and well.

I certainly recommend this piece.

Customer Review: The best pan ever!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I couldn't wait for my pan to arrive. When I got it out of the box, it was even better than I imagined! It's sturdy, cleans up like magic, and goes straight from the stovetop to the oven. My range has four standard burners plus an oval-shaped center burner which is where I use my pan. It fits perfectly! I can't say enough about this pan. My husband saw how happy I was with it(it was his Christmas gift to me) and he told me to throw away all of my old pans and buy the whole Rachael Ray cookware set! Yay! I think I'll wait til Mother's Day so that can be my next present from him. Definitely recommend this item.

Customer Review: excellent product
Summary: 5 Stars

I have used this unusually shaped oval Rachel Ray pot about 4 times and each time I am so happy with the results. It fits perfectly over two burners, it cooks evenly; it holds a large quantity of food so it is perfect for stews and braising. I recommend it highly. It is well worth the price. It seems to me that it is an answer to stovetops that only have one large burner because it fits so well on two small burners with the same and perhaps better results than using just the large burner. Every cook should have at least one of these pots.

Customer Review: I truly love this pan!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have always owned Revere Ware pans with the copper bottoms but after my daughter raved about the entire set of Rachael Ray cookware she was given for Christmas last year, I decided to try this pan. I absolutely love it! I thought it might be too big for just 2 people but it isn't. I have arthritis and can still work with this pan. I love the way it cooks, the easy clean up, the glass lid so you can see how things are coming along and those fabulous easy grip handles. I now want the whole set.
