I love these knives. My mom originally bought them from Chef Central when they were closing down for about $5.00. From the moment I used them then, I needed to have them at my own house. I searched and found them on Amazon and bought two. I use them for cutting veggies mostly but they can be used for anything. They even cut through tomato skin (which is always a problem for me). This is a great all-around knife and totally worth every penny. I love the color and the little holder for the knife.

Furi's Rachael Ray Gusto-Grip knives are now protected with Furi Guard¿, an antimicrobial agent proven to suppress the growth of bacteria, yeast, mold and fungi. Furi-Guard antimicrobial inhibitors are incorporated directly and permanently into the Gusto-Grip handles during the manufacturing process, giving the handle an added safeguard against microorganisms that can degrade handle materials over time! Furi Rachael Ray Gusto-Grip knives are made from the finest German CrMoV stainless steel, forged bolster, one-piece with blade and strong tang for supreme strength. The handle core is molded from ultra-tough polypropylene (PP) with an injection-molded outer layer of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE--a durable synthetic rubber).Created by Füri in cooperation with celebrity chef Rachael Ray, the Gusto-Grip line of knives are well-made, user-friendly, and fun to look at as a bonus. Designed to retain sharpness and maximize efficiency on the cutting board, Gusto-Grips blades are fashioned from a single forged piece of premium CrMoV German stainless steel. The nonslip polypropylene and rubber handles in cheerful bright orange have a comfortable reverse wedge shape that minimizes the need for squeezing and molds ergonomically to the hand. A smart touch, antimicrobial protection on the grip limits bacteria, mold, and deterioration.
A great little tool, this Gusto-Grip paring knife has a versatile 4-inch blade suited to trimming eyes from potatoes or slicing nectarines. The finger notch creates greater control, and the piece comes with a blade guard that is especially handy in the picnic basket or lunchbox.
