I just got mine in the mail yesterday and put it up immediately. I cannot beleive I did not get one of these knife holders years ago. I had limited space and needed a 10 inch holder and this was perfect. I have several Wusthof knives and this thing holds the heaviest ones tightly, yet it is a cinch to remove them when ready for use.
When I first hung the unit and put my knives on it I worried that when you took one off others would tend to be dispalced. NO WAY. They hold fast. Very safe... And much easier on the knives when I'm not sticking them in drawers all the time. HIGHLY recomended.
