This board is not quality marble enough for cutting on. I was cutting soft vegetables on this and now it has scratches. No where in the description does it state "not to be used as a cutting board" or "avoid using sharp instruments". And most people would assume this could be used as a cutting board. I was very, very disappointed in this and will be returning it for a refund.
