This is a great starter set to buy if you plan to do anything but the basics. But it will deplete very quickly. The colors are a great way to start but mixing pigmented wax for that color you want can be more of a challenge than with oils or acrylics and definitely more expensive. The wax has a reasonable amount of pigment but will require more layers to get a solid color than if you made the medium yourself (oil paint and encaustic medium for example). The best bet is to start here than if you like the medium move into a more economical way to buy your encaustics.
