Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of FortiFlora FELINE - Box of 30 (1 gram packets)Customer Review: Saved my sanity and the litter box! Summary: 5 Stars
Now I realize that not everyone wants to read about kitty poo...but if you're reading reviews for cat probiotics then it is likely some sort of interest for you. My new shelter cat Jack B. has had "issues" since I adopted him this summer. Regardless of what brand of food I fed him, what came out the other end was about 3x the volume and required, uh, resting time before scooping. Let's just say it made litter box time a real chore. I use the Breeze litter, which is designed to last a month. But it's very difficult to maintain when half the litter sticks to Jack B.'s multiple daily contributions.
So after some research I landed on FortiFlora. Within 3 days (no joke!) I could barely discern Jack B. and Bill Murray (my other cat) in the litter box. It was a miracle! And one that I will gladly add to my monthly budget and daily routine to acheive. And apparently this stuff tastes awesome, cuz Bill goes crazy and licks the packet since he doesn't get any. So now I have a system of a "food" ball to pace Jack's eating. And then every morning he gets a slurry of water and FortiFlora. He drinks it up like some sort of kitty delicacy. But it also works fine if you mix it with soft food, or just add a little water to dry food so it sticks. I just wish they sold it in bulk, so I don't have to throw away those little packets every day.
This concludes my review of the wonders of kitty poo and probiotics. If your cat is having any sort of digestive issues, I highly recommend giving this a try. You should be able to determine it's affects before you go through an entire box, so it's worth a try. Now if I could just get him to keep him from chewing all my power cords...
