This pitcher is great. I bought it about 2 years ago. The only problem was that the handle broke. But I loved it so much I just bought another one. The slim design is great for tight spaces in the fridge. The filters last me about a month, which I guess is average. I can't even cook with the tap water in my house (it tastes so bad)so I use this for cooking. These are the best inexpensive filters on the market. The only thing better would be a reverse osmosis system which is BIG BUCKS. So, I'll stick with my Pur for now.Customer Review: Excellent but smaller than you think

I've experienced no problems with this product after three months of nightly usage. I will tell you that it's worth it to get a larger pitcher as this one can only fill about 2.5 glasses. If you're eating dinner with a friend, you'll find yourself resorting to tap water with this tiny pitcher. At first I noticed a slight chemical taste not present in Brita filtration but after a couple weeks either the taste went away or I became desensitized to it. When our offices were redecorated, all the water coolers were taken away. Since then, I've been carrying in bottles of water at the start of every week -- or trying to remember to bring them in. Very annoying! This has been the perfect solution for me -- I fill it up in the morning from the tap and have it right at my desk. Easy to use, and the water tastes great. I have used both Brita and PUR products and consistently have found PUR to be better in both design and taste. The lid to the pitcher is a piece that lifts completely off and on; it would be nicer if it was a bit sturdier or a flip-top, however, unlike another review, I haven't found it to be a problem. I'm very happy with this PUR pitcher. Nice size for one or two people and uses the 2-step filter.Customer Review: Great product

Does exactly what it is supposed to do! Read other reviews as I thought I would buy a Brita product because that is what came to my mind when I thought of water filters. Bought the PUR because of the other reviews I read on Amazon. It works great. Haven't had it for a month yet but we use it so much I'll probably have to change the filters every month instead of 1 to 2 months.
