Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Prince Lionheart Bebe Pod Booster Seat Color: SageCustomer Review: Bebe Pod Summary: 4 Stars
Great seat for an infant who can hold their head up but still needs support in a sitting position. My son is able to sit and play with toys in the Pod--although they have to be tall enough that he can grasp them, as he cannot reach the floor while in the seat. I also did not realize beforehand that you cannot add on a tray to this style--it does not have the white twist-off pommel. I was planning on adding the tray when my son was a little older and would have snacks there, but that is not possible with this style. That was disappointing (it should be noted in the description), but overall we are pleased with the seat.
Customer Review: I love my bebepod! Summary: 4 Stars
I bought the bebe pod when my daughter was small to help her sit up. The sides and front were high enough to where she wouldn't fall out. And it is a lot softer than it looks. Durable too, we can toss it around the house and it doesn't fall apart. She's a year old now and we still use it when we don't feel like pulling out the highchair. She's small for her age and it fits her perfectly. I would totally recommend this product, it's been great for us.
Customer Review: Seat stinks like plastics Summary: 4 Stars
Has anyone else experienced the stench of this seat out of the box? We bought ours new and when I removed it from the box the odor of chemicals or plastic was very strong. We set our kid in it for about 5 minutes to see how she would like it and the stink transferred to her clothes.
I'm thinking of "baking" the chemicals out (turning a hairdryer on it) for a few minutes to see if that helps.
Customer Review: Serves it's purpose Summary: 4 Stars
It is an okay seat. My only complaint is that my son has slightly chubby legs and the area on the chair where his legs go and the whole "pummel" thing seem kind of tight and uncomfortable for him. We started him in it at about 4 months. He sits in it for only short periods of time, he gets uncomfortable pretty fast. Otherwise, a decent chair.
Customer Review: Okay for baby who has a lot of head support Summary: 4 Stars
My 5 month old still falls over forward in this. Not sure how a baby any younger than him could sit in it. I wish I had the one with the tray on it though, because he can't reach any toys that are on the ground in front of him, so the chair defeats the purpose. I think I'd be much happier if I had the one with the tray.
