We bought this for our son when he was able to hold his head up but couldn't sit on his own. He was able to sit upright comfortably in it. It was often a lifesaver, it allowed me to have my hands free to get things done with him sitting close-by (you should never leave your baby unattended in this seat, it is possible for them to squirm their way out!).
It is small and lightweight and we often took it with us to Grandma's house - it is great for feeding on the go.
I have not tried the Bumbo Baby Sitter - Blue so I am not sure how they compare, although by the looks of it, it seems like the Bumbo has less room for chubby little legs! I would definitely recommend the Bebe Pod to anyone!
