Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Prime Pacific Stainless Steel Pasta Machine

Customer Review: fraustrating to use--handle keeps falling off & pasta sticks together
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this when it was on sale for $10.99, the price was great but the product is so inferior it was not even worth that. I decided to return it because it was fraustrating to use. First the handle kept falling off as I tried to roll dough through the machine. Second, the noodles that come out were not seperated enough to be individual noodles. It was more like a sheet of dough with some lines on them. I thought maybe it was because my dough was too soft, so I added more flour, it did not help either, my pastas still come out stuck together.

I purchase stuff frequetly from amazon, and never had to return anything. This is the first time, and it was easy. The shipping back to amazon is free, and I got credit right away.

Customer Review: Poor quality
Summary: 1 Stars

I have just used the Prime Pacific Stainless Steel Pasta Machine I bought last December. The machine died on my the first time I used it. The problem is the cranks. I have owned other pasta machines, so I can tell that this is the most important and weakest part in all pasta machines. If there are not made of good steal, they are bond to wear out quickly or, worse, break. Well the Prime Pacific Stainless Steel Pasta Machine wasn't up to the job. After only a few passes of dough the cranks broke. And this happen even when I was careful not to put too thick a piece of dough through it. My advise is to avoid the frustration and wast of money on it.

Customer Review: worst experience
Summary: 1 Stars

I ordered this machine and get a defective one at the first time. Its cutting rolls didn't work well. I asked for a replacement and got a refurbished one. The second one was also bad. Its cutting part and the body part didn't fit. When I turned the handle, the cutting part went up and down with the handle, and sometimes even slipped down suddenly! I called the services and hoped them to send me a good one, but I was told to ask for refund. Now I have no choice but to return it. This is my worst experience shopping here! If you don't have enough patience, stay away from it, it wastes a lot of time!

Customer Review: Not so good & Can I demand a refund?
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this for my wife January 15, now on a table it's a pile of parts that I'm going to throw away.

My wife only used this machine a couple of times for dumpling wrapper. But soon she found the roller mechanism don't work properly, sometime stuck. She and her friend (another lady) tinkered with the machine, now it's a pile of parts lying on the table that I'm going to throw out. I guess I'm the one to be blamed as I call myself an Engineer.

Customer Review: TOO hard to clean
Summary: 1 Stars

I have owned this machine over 2 years, and am giving it to Goodwill. It is too hard to clean. Dough pieces work their way into the works, and cannot be removed without removing 9 screws. It works fine, but does not shield against dough collection. If you only wnt to use it one or two times a year, it is great. If you want a real pasta maker, it is useless.
