We purchased a cheap teflon electric skillet & within a short time, it started peeling. So decided to get a stainless steel electric skillet. My husband & I are very happy with our purchase (he does as much cooking as I do). We do not have a stove so this is great. We use it nearly every day. We find frying eggs with just a little cooking spray & on lower heat, the eggs do not stick & clean up is a breeze. Everything we have cooked in it, has turned out good. One of the reviews mentioned they didn't like the "upkeep" on it. If it gets white spots, all you have to do is pour alittle white vinegar in it & wash. How hard is that?? Another mentioned the size. We have found it big enough to cook enough food for 9 people! We purchased it in July, 2010 & we would definitely recommend this skillet.
