I have a queen sized bed, and when I moved into my new house a few months ago, my queen box spring would not fit up the steps no matter what we tried. We tried taking the railing off, doors off, you name it we probably tried it. Since I couldn't get it up the stairs I had to find a way to have support under my mattress, so that I wouldn't be sleeping on it on the floor. I looked at spilt box springs and various other box spring frame combinations in one. This was probably the one that I found the best reviews and decently priced options so I decided to give it a go. First of all fastest shipping I could expect, it told me it would take at least 10-14 business days to receive, I got it like 4 days after I ordered it. Second of all, it has tons of storage space underneath it. Thirdly, I haven't noticed it be squeaky at all. Fourth, it is really easy to put together and folds up pretty small, I could fit in my small cavalier if I have to move again in the future.
I definitely recommend this if you are having a similar issue, great alternative!
