Just got 3 storage boxes. Now I understand why it's so inexpensive. It's simply made of stiff cardboard and looks like taped sides, then covered with paper - like thin wallpaper maybe. I don't think these boxes can be handled too much otherwise they will easily break apart. The purple box arrived with the surface of the top cover dented in one corner, but no big deal. It's not worth the hassle to return because it'll be used for its intended purpose anyway: storage. Nice colors to help in sorting photos/other items.
