I originally got this to give it as a gift to one of my friends. It came in a small brown box which made it look like some cheap product, so I decided that it may not be a good gift (because I thought it would probably break after using it a couple of times). The red color looks pretty and I have been using it at home for some time now without any problems. It works a lot better than the regular corkscrews and I am surprisingly pleased with this product and glad I didn't give it to my friend!

Pinzon's easy-to-use wine opener effortlessly extracts a cork from any wine bottle in three seconds with simple lever action. Comfortable handles easily clamp onto a bottle's neck; the steel lever drives the tough, Teflon-coated worm into the cork with a push and then pulls the cork out cleanly with a simple pull. Releasing the cork involves the same action, only with the handles clamped onto the cork. The eye-catching opener is ruggedly constructed of red transparent plastic with a heavy-duty steel gear mechanism, and opens one-thousand bottles in its lifetime. It comes with a squeeze-and-twist foil cutter to strip away the foil covering a cork, and a replacement worm.
