My Sister gave this to me for Chirstmas and she got it for $20.00 dollars.
I got a very fun and functional item for my kitchen. Not only have I used it for apples but also potatoes. Now I have to cut the ends off the potatoes and cut them in half but I was using very large Russets.
I use to dread making apple pies and peeling spuds but not anymore. I can peel, core and slice six apples in less than five minutes.
Buy it; you'll love it!

My time is valuable and this machine cut down my start to finish time greatly! I can quickly peel, core, and slice enough apples to fill the four trays of my dehydrator in 5 minutes. This used to be a manual process where I would peel them with a potato peeler, core and slice with a two-hand device, further divide the slices and then place them on the dehydrator. All this used to take me 30-45 minutes. The Pinzon is well made, easy to use and just as easy to clean.Customer Review: Over delivers

I just received it and I can say that everybody at home wanted to use it and loved the results that are magical.
It is easy to operate, my kids (5 and 7 yrs.) managed to use this gadget without effort (there are some sharp parts so I wouldn't advise children using this without supervision).
In the case of apples some of the juice drops to the surface.
Eating the sliced apple is fun! I will be eating more apples, thats for sure!

Simple, efficient, effective. In a world of so much high-tech junk, it's nice to see something mechanically so simple that is so effective. We use it a lot to peel/core apples for applesauce, apple cobbler and the like. It makes quick prep for scalloped potatoes as well. Happily, cleanup has been simple with it as well. We have had it for several months as of this writing, and it holds up well, and something I expect NOT to have to replace.Customer Review: Excellent device!

Wonderful little tool here. Alton Brown always complains about unitaskers, but I can make room for this one in my house. My 13 month old son is eating more apples than ever now that I can peel and core one in less than 15 seconds! :) I tried doing it to a potato and while it works great, I really need to deep fry them to get good fries. Baking doesn't work. Get one of these if you have kids and want them to eat more fruit!
