I bought this apple peeler for my daughter in her new home because I have always loved mine. It makes the process of coring apples for chunky applesauce or apple pies a breeze. As long as you can get a good seal on the suction to hold it in place, you are good to go and a bushel of apples will be conquered in no time. It is possible to either remove the peel or leave it in place and neither big nor small apples are a problem. It is fascinating to older kids who always volunteer to help when they see what I am doing and the younger kids always come to pilfer the strips of peel! In fact, my grandson who is a picky eater is now proudly poking his fingers through the hole left by the apple core and eating the apples right off his hand. To keep the blades sharp make sure to wash the gadget right after use--the acidic juice will dull the corer and peeler.Customer Review: Super Apple Pealer

This is so fast and easy to use. It works for eating apples fresh, or just coring and peeling pounds of them for pies. Instantly peels, cores and slices. I do mean fast! Just push the apple on the prongs, and crank away. Love the little connected slices. For apple dippers either just lift and break them into sections, or cut down once and they are ready. For a pie I just stand them on end and make two cuts down. The peel is in one curly ribbon section and great to munch on also. Always wash the apples first. It can be adjusted to core only or peel only. The cleanup is easy. The family is eating at least twice as many apples and I do not have a problem with that. Great quality, easy to adjust, use and clean up, and very affordable. This thing works!Customer Review: It works. Watch out for soft spots.

This appears to be the same peeler, corer, slicer that's sold all over for a wide range of prices. The suction cup holds well. Works as described. BUT, if there is a soft spot on the apple, the peeler may not continue to peel after hitting it. It seems like the peeler portion digs in too far at the soft spot, then just quits. A simple reapplication of the peeler arm and all's well.
You can run the two portions of this device solo. So, you can peel and not core or slice, or you can core and slice without peeling.
There was also an extra corer/ slicer arm in the box. The instructions are ok, but it's pretty self explanatory.

Really delighted that I ordered this product. I originally thought that it would be great for our weekly apple pie, which it is. Little did I know what a novelty it is to my 5 and 3 year olds. They'll bring me apples just to be able to use this gadget and then they'll eat them because the apples look like bouncy springs. Great for lunchboxes, too. Easy to use once you get the hang of it after a couple of tries. Works well on potatoes, too, as you can make those fun curly fries. Just a neat thing to have in the kitchen, especially for a household with kids.Customer Review: GREAT GADGET!

I loved this thing so much, I bought two! It pares apples, slices peppers, and even peels potatoes. Don't be fooled by it's delicate appearance, this is a tough tool that holds up to rugged use. It has 3 sharp, stainless steel prongs that secure the fruit in place, and a simple to use mechanism to align the slicer/ parer blade so that it removes just the peel and almost no fruit. It stays in place by an adjustable rubber vacuum foot which works best on perfectly smooth counter tops that are a bit damp. Highly recommended.
