Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Baby Nasal Aspirator Vacuum Suction Pigeon (Made in Japan)

Customer Review: Life savor!
Summary: 5 Stars

This definitely the best Baby Nasal Aspirator. Words cannot describe how much I love it. I use it everyday. Somehow my baby (now a happy 3-month-old) is congested everyday. I asked doctor why it is like that. And the response is "some babies are just like that. You just have to clean your baby's nose regularly." Since I started use this, no more screaming when it comes to nose-cleaning time. My baby sometimes even smiles to me afterward, like he is saying "thank you, mom. Now I can breath." It is a little pricey, but think about how easy it will make your life, it is so worth it.

Another thing is that, even you have to use your mouth when use it, all the dirty things will only going to the container, you only use your mouth to create the vacuum. So no worry about that.

Customer Review: This product really works
Summary: 5 Stars

I was given this item by friends (in Japan actually) and at first I was very skeptical of this device as I successfully used a typical bulb to suck stuff out of my daughter's nose. However, just this past week my daughter caught a cold and screamed her head off when we tried the nose bulb, and I don't blame her...you have to stick those things in her nose and it just doesn't seem comfortable even if stuff comes out. So I gave this item a try, and boy it works so wonderfully! Like other reviewers say, the tip does not go into the nose that much and you can control sucking by you. The reservoir prevents from you sucking in baby's snot... it is easy to clean and the storage box acts as a microwavable cleaning kit, it's genius. My daughter prefers this way better than the typical bulb, I highly recommend!

Customer Review: This really sucks!
Summary: 5 Stars

Yes, it sucks but in a good way. I have used the dreaded bulb, cringed at the expense of the battery operated models and scratched my head at the musical snot suckers. With much hesitation I purchased this, seeing as it was reasonably priced, had no mechanical parts or batteries, and was made by that oh-so-advanced culture of Japan. I was a bit freaked out at first, wondering if I would get a mouth full of my child's snot, however this thing worked like a charm! The end that goes in your child's nose is just long enough so that it isn't shoving its way into his brain. The tube that goes in your mouth is the perfect length and yes, it does what it says. It removes the mucus competely and effectievely. I am giving one to all my relatives with kids as gifts.

Customer Review: It WORKS! =)
Summary: 5 Stars

This aspirator definitely works. I hated using the bulb because my baby just freaks out everytime i use it, but with this aspirator it's pretty easy. All you do is stick the white peice into your baby's nose (which has a stopper so you cant mistakenly stick it too far down the nose) and suck into the tube and the snot would go right into the clear container and the snot does NOT go into your mouth. I mean the thought of sucking the snot out of your baby's nose is really gross but it really does work. Whatever helps my baby breath better I will try. It's also pretty easy to clean...i just use hot water and anti-bacterial soap and wash/rinse the entire aspirator. Also there are three parts to it so you can take it apart for easier cleaning.

Customer Review: Sure enough - it works!
Summary: 5 Stars

Tried the bulb srynge, then the motorized aspirator - however, in the last two months, this one was the BEST. My (then) 4 month old son refused to have his nose cleared - until we used this funny-looking tool. First, the rounded bulb does not poke into his nostril (seems to hurt less than the bulb) and you can rotate it around a little to get the best angle. Second, because you control the pressure and when to clear, it's easier to control (versus the bulb or motorized aspirator). Third, it's easier to clean and carry in a portable bag. You may still need a little saline and a tissue to clear the worst ones - but it does the job to ensure your baby sleeps at night.
