Great filter, looks good, slim but holds a good amount of water. No bad taste. After about a week the filter started to slow, so it would take up to 24 hours for the reservoir to empty completely!! It's a pain, we just try to regularly add water. I try to think it's moving so slow because it's filtering through so much muck in the water. We had to replace the filter after a month or so, then it was back to speedy filtering. Good water...annoying, though.Customer Review: Great capacity, more convenient

The capacity of this pitcher is much better than the normal pitcher, which is great for us, a family who drinks a lot of water. I leave it out on the counter and refill it from the sink.
My technique is to fill it up, let it filter through one upper level, then fill it up again (which leaves the upper tank mostly full). This allows it to continue to filter as water is used, allowing a longer time to refill, and availability of fresh water.
It's great for cooking, too, where you might need a great deal of water at one time which the normal pitcher isn't great for.

after hauling home thousands of gallon jugs of spring water for decades, i finally sprang for a PUR filtered water dispenser........it is one of the best buys i have made in years; it is so simple to use and it causes much less strain on my aging arms and shoulders than does lifting all those heavy water jugs. filters are easy to change and last even longer than advertised as my drinking water use is less than the average. other advantages.............my water cost has fallen from $1/gallon to less than 19 cents and no ugly water jugs now clutter kitchen space.
best of all, all objectionable municipal odors and flavors are eliminated and the water tastes fresh. what could be better than all positives?

This water filter system works well. The water taste great. As much water as my family of four goes through it is nice to have a fast filter. It also doesn't take up that much space, a big plus. Customer Review: Was never a fan of home water filter systems.. until now!

I was never really a fan of home water filer systems like Brita and PUR, and always bought my water bottled from the grocery stores. However, now that I've purchased this water dispenser, I LOVE IT! My PUR dispenser filters taste so good that I no longer buy bottled water, and will more than likely never will again. I've had it for several months now, and recently purchased another one because I drink a lot of water. This is probably one of my favorite items that have been a great purchase. I really do feel that I've got my money's worth from this PUR dispenser. Be sure to stock up on the 3-pack filters off Amazon because the prices are cheaper than in the retail stores!
