These filters couldn't be easier to use. They last me about a month and a half each. I drink a lot of water. They make the water taste much better. I can't say that I know, however, how effective these filters are at removing contaminants/impurities; I've never had the water tested. I use them because my home has some older pipes and I just want to be safe, and have better tasting water.Customer Review: Clean Tasteless Water

These filters really make water taste clean. The only problem is that they occasionally begin to filter more slowly. The solution is to remove the filter and give it a couple shakes. Not a big deal - I have only needed to do it once or twice during the life of a filter. The filters do their job well. I bought my pitcher recently, so I missed out on how great these old filters with life meter were. But as far as I can tell these filters work just fine. And to the people who complain about it doesn't filter out fluoride, it's written on the box and explained in the document inside so it's ridiculous to fault a product for not doing something that's been explicitly stated it won't do.Customer Review: water filters

I replaced my Brita water pitcher with a Pur water pitcher.
These filters are much better. Fit tightly in pitcher and I can see particles from an old faucet that the Brita filters let through. Water tastes like spring water and l like knowing that it filters more out of the water than the Brita ones. And there's no charcoal in the refill reservoir.
Highly recommend!

I live in the mountains and have well water. No matter how the water smells or tastes out of the tap, this filter gives me clean, fresh great tasting water. Before I had this water filter, I didn't drink much water when I was home. Now I'm starting to get used to the fact that I can drink my water any time I want! I also am so glad to give my cat fresh, clean water.
