Was hesitant about purchasing this pitcher after some of the former negative reviews. I can only conclude that PUR has changed it's filtration system or manufacturing process or something, because I think this pitcher is GREAT!!
The water filters quickly and tastes fantastic. Pitcher is light-weight but very sturdy. Nicely balanced, no problems with lid falling off during pouring, and the shape fits nicely in my usually-overcrowded fridge.
I find that I'm MUCH more likely to reach for a glass of water (trying to cut out too many diet drink products) now that I have this cold, refreshing - and great tasting - source right at my fingertips. I would highly recommend this pitcher and would purchase again!

For years, I've been lugging bottles of water (mostly distilled) so that I can avoid weird water tastes, cloudy water and mystery pollution floating in it. Well, I guess I'm about to miss out on all those great work-outs I've been doing. There'll be no more heavy lifting for me or squandering tons of money (it really adds up!) on bottled water. I can also congratulate myself on sparing the environment all those plastic jugs in the trash.
PUR CR-600 2 Stage Oval Water Pitcher is excellent, efficient and cost-effective. The pitcher, itself, is quite sturdy. I've been using this pitcher for weeks now, and I'm certain that it will last a good long time. I highly recommend it and only wish I had purchased one years ago!

I absolutely love this water filter. I have disgusting tasting, foggy city water, and after this pitcher filters my water, it is completely clear and tastes wonderful. I am 100% satisfied. Extremely easy to assemble, and I like the filter replacement guide on the side to help remind you when to change the filter. I had no problems with the lid falling off when pouring or the unfiltered water pouring out with the filtered water. The water seems to filter extremely quickly. I can fill the top part almost all the way full, and it will be completely filtered in 15-20 minutes. I am buying another pitcher for my mom because it is such a reasonably priced, useful, high quality product.Customer Review: Great Product

I recieved my PUR water filter pitcher today and Ive got to say I am very impressed with how fast it filters the water and the crisp taste of it after wards. I taste tested my tap water straight from the tap and then from my PUR pitcher and I was amazed and the difference. I have to say I was a little skeptical after I had purchased the pitcher and then read the reviews but I took the chance and im glad I did. I will be recommending this pitcher to all of my friends great taste and I feel much better knowing that my daughter will get clean water to drink instead of water that taste like bacteria is in it. I enjoy my filter a lot! Yeh it filters water a little bit slow, but you should read the instractions first, don't pay attention to the people who writes that is filters slow and sometimes fast so they just throught out the filter before 2 mounth use and put another one that it cam filter faster! The filter takes 1 week to adjust filter elements and after that the filter takes 1 to two hours to filter the water but that it it's capacity, it can filter only 2-3 gallons dayly so don't expect it to be fast!! The water taste great, I would highly recommend this filterarion system!
