Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Provo Craft Knifty Knitter round loom series

Customer Review: Haven't Put It Down!
Summary: 5 Stars

I LOVE my Knifty Knitter! I just got it a week ago and it's so quick and easy that I've been able to make 4 hats! I definitely prefer it to the traditional way of knitting. I love that you can quickly complete a project instead of working on it for ages like with regular knitting. I've noticed that there are scratches from the hook in the plastic even though I've been gentle with it and I hope this won't create problems down the line but overall, I'm satisfied with it! BUT-I would advise you to go to Michael's instead, if you have one near you, because they sell for $15 there plus $1 if you want the pattern book. I was lucky enough to catch them on sale and get mine for 9 bucks. And the next day, they had a yarn event and I won another one! So I would highly recommend this item, and suggest that you keep an eye out for a good bargain!

Customer Review: Perfect for difficult yarns - great even for autistic kids!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this after trying to crochet a scarf for my toddler with baby pink eyelash yarn - quite unsuccessfully I might add - and much to my elation, the loom was the perfect frustration reliever! I am now learning to make other things. My biggest surprise however, is that my 11 year old daughter (who's profoundly-autistic) was quite fascinated with the new activity I picked up and began asking to "help" me make things. After showing her just a couple stitches, she is now doing her own rows! Just might end up being a stress reliever for her and I'm looking at buying her her own loom to make blankets or scarves. :D

Customer Review: Lovin' the loom
Summary: 5 Stars

I have this set of 4 looms, the set of 4 long looms, the purple long loom and the purple round hat loom. I love them all. I started in October making a hat and a scarf I have since done 3 scarves, 5 hats, a gater, working on a shawl. I love to loom. I also have the wooden looms and I love them too. I got my sister started last month and she has already make a couple of hats. THis is so easy and relaxing and it doesn't hurt your hands like crocheting does. I use to love to crochet but it really hurt my hands. Anyone can loom....

Customer Review: Hope for the hopeless knitter ;)
Summary: 5 Stars

As an avid crocheter since the age of 5, I thought making the transition into knitting would be an easy one. Countless books, websites, and "teachers" later, I thought I was a lost cause who cannot follow directions and that knitting is impossible. I couldn't even learn from a book geared towards preteens! But I bought the knifty knitter from a craft store and made my first hat an hour later. The directions are extremely clear and easy, and this makes knitting fast and simple. I highly recommend it to kids and adults.

Customer Review: No-talent hack makes scarf in one weekend!
Summary: 5 Stars

I cannot knit or crochet - I mess up terribly or get bored with lack of progress. I bought one of these sets at Michael's over the weekend and by Sunday night, I had a scarf that was easy to make at looked REALLY REALLY GOOD! We went and bought another set for my step-daughter and an extra hook, and even my 7 year old son has been able to do this. I am completely hooked!

Note: I have to order that extra book of instructions. The instructions that come in the bag border on useless, and only cover making a hat.
