Personally, I just started using clay and this glaze is great for beginners since you can apply the glaze before or after you bake the clay. It gives a very nice glossy glow after at least two coats, though I'm not sure how it compares to the Fimo glaze. Though a little pricy, the small bottle is still pretty full after many coats on a handful of small projects.
However, it does make micron pigment pens run a little if it is applied to the clay.
