I purchased this Oster Milkshake maker for my son-in-law for Christmas. He had owned an inferior one with plastic parts & it broke. This maker is made of stainless steel parts, with a stainless receptacle and makes "restaurant style" milkshakes. He & my grandchild have had great fun creating and serving designer shakes to the whole family. It mixes smoothly in no time and is very easy to clean. Bought this product because of its reasonable price and retro look. Pop uses it every time the grands come for dinner... its an after dinner tradition to watch Pop make milkshakes the old fashioned way. I priced other similar products... this one was the best priced with the right look. Makes great shakes. Looks nice on my counter tucked in a corner waiting for the next family event! Cleans easily. Strong motor but...I found with hard ice cream the small mixer head would not move ice cream around and mix it. What would help if the operator would have the ability to remove the cup from the top clip and the motor still run. This would allow you to move the cup to trap the ice cream and mix it better. I use to mix counter milkshakes and that was an advantage.
The mixer is beautiful, heavy and very strong.

I bought this for my husband even though I am the head MilkShake maker. He likes to have a milkshake every sunday night as our family thing to do. This makes a very smooth and creamy shake and we are enjoying it. It's easy to clean up, it's easy to start and stop, and it makes the perfect amount for each person. We are enjoying the fun and the look of it as well. Like an ice cream shop!Customer Review: Excellent product!

After reading reviews from other customers on several different milkshake machines, I decided on this one. I was originally going for a cheaper one until I read the reviews. That made me decide on this one and it was a good decision. It works great! It's sturdy and powerful enough and my husband loved it for his birthday. I do recommend this machine.
