My husband and I just received this steamer and we LOVE it!! I have steamed salmon, carrots, eggs, bok choy, chicken breasts, all within the 7 days I have owned it and it is all wonderful. Absolutely loved how moist the chicken breasts were.....and the carrots were wonderfully sweet. I've had absolutely no issues with this product. My husband has tried boiled eggs and steaming eggs in custard cups with great results. We've recently changed our way of thinking when it comes to eating and the steamer fits into our lifestyle now. Simple, easy-to-use, healthy, and convenient. Just don't know why it took me so long to buy one! My daughter has ordered one now for herself and her husband since I've bragged on it over and over for a week!Customer Review: Great product!

I really, really like this steamer/cooker! Due to a work schedule change, I haven't had the time to cook with it as much as I'd like but what I have done so far has been great! I did cook some poached eggs one morning which were turned out fine. I have reheated leftovers, cooked rice, hot dogs, sausage, baked beans (cans), baked/cooked potatoes etc. and all have turned out so good. I like being able to cook a complete meal at one time and the clean-up is so easy too! I can't wait until I have more free time to experiment with different types of food in this. I highly recommend this. I haven't tried the delayed cooking, I'm not that organized in the mornings but I have used the warming feature after the cooking time has finished.Customer Review: Outstanding

I am a firm believer in amazon reviews as I think real people's comments are more reliable than manufacturers' promises. I actually picked this up at Target before coming across the amazon review. I made an incredible dinner tonight- Snow crab and scallops with broccoli and cauliflower. I am single and often find it pointless to cook big dinners for myself. With the steamer it was so nice to just portion out just enough for one and it is so easy. Just put your food in the baskets and walk away. It'll beep when dinner's ready! This is one of the best products I have bought in ages. Don't sacrifice nutritous, amazing dinners just because you are cooking for one! I had 3 experiences of burning out my previous steamers on stove, which caused the house filled with smoke, but luckily, no fire. So having a timer or auto shutoff function become the "must-have" feature of my next steamer. I found this Oster 2 Tier steamer, the review from this product are very positive, so I got one. Now I almost had it for 1 month, I just fall in love with it. The timer make my steaming food process very well delivered, the auto detect of shortness in water saved me a few times again. Also the steamer can produce steam in just a few seconds when you start the steaming operation. The shape of the steamer is easy to use with any food, especially with Seafood, it become a plus. Are you looking for a steamer that is well worth it's money?? Well you found it!! This has to be the best steamer I've ever purchased. Large enough for a family of 4 or 5. Double decker trays allows you to steam 2 products at the same time. The right side has a view window for you to moniter your water level, as well as to refill the chamber, without guessing {is it full or almost empty} and being forced to remove the cover to see or fill.
